SG to reunite??

I can't see why Darren couldn't have a solo career as well as be in a band either. Lots of other groups have done it over the years. Phil Collins for instance as part of Genesis and various members of Queen had solo records out and Roger Taylor even toured with his so it can be done [img]smile.gif[/img]

SG coming back together wouldn't mean the automatic death of Darren's solo career, many artists have their band and also solo ventures as well. Depeche Mode is a prime example of a band where the members regularly did their own thing and did it very well yet always returned to DM to make amazing new albums [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

Mum was just telling me about Bruce Springsteen (who she's going to see next week) and how he was apart from the E Street Band for 20 years before they joined up with him again [img]eek.gif[/img]

Hey Jen I agree with you too. I believe Darren has only scratched the surface with Spin!

However, also agrees please no techno stuff, leave that to Specificus!

I'm still very skeptical about the media reports (I think Katt summed it up very well), still it's certainly resulted in some great discussion on the various boards!

I did find this old quote from Darren from Rove Live in November 2001:-

Rove asks "Any chance of a Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis style reunion special somewhere down the track?"

Darren replied "We just went our separate ways, give us a few years"

I'm sure Darren has made other quotes since....

Anyways I reckon SG had just scratched the surface of their talent. We hadnt see half of what they had to give musically. Two albums that were simply amazing...I need me some more of that.

I agree with Kat, I've always wondered what we would have seen from Daniel and Darren if they'd carried on as SG because they were so, so special. I too hope Darren's next album is great, not the techno stuff though and please no rap, can't stand it
